Publication Ethics Statement
Real Coster: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is firmly committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. This statement is based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines and applies to all parties involved in the publishing process: editors, reviewers, authors, and the publisher.

Editors’ Responsibilities

  1. Editors are responsible for making the final decision regarding the publication of submitted manuscripts.

  2. Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on their academic merit, without regard to the authors’ race, gender, beliefs, ethnicity, nationality, or political views.

  3. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts.

  4. Editors must not use unpublished materials from submitted manuscripts for their own research or personal advantage.

  5. Editors ensure that the peer review process is fair, objective, and timely.

Reviewers’ Responsibilities

  1. Reviewers assist editors in making publication decisions and provide constructive feedback to improve the manuscript’s quality.

  2. Reviewers must treat the manuscript as a confidential document.

  3. Reviewers should provide objective and well-reasoned evaluations, free from personal criticism.

  4. Reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

  5. Reviewers should decline the review if the subject matter falls outside their expertise or if they are unable to complete the review on time.

Authors’ Responsibilities

  1. Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original, free from plagiarism, and has not been previously published.

  2. Authors must properly cite all relevant sources and acknowledge the work of others appropriately.

  3. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their research is conducted ethically, in compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards.

  4. All individuals who have made significant contributions must be listed as co-authors.

  5. Authors must promptly notify the editor if they discover errors or inaccuracies in their published work.

Publisher’s Responsibilities

  1. The publisher supports editors, reviewers, and authors in maintaining consistent ethical standards.

  2. The publisher guarantees academic freedom and does not interfere with the editorial content.

  3. The publisher ensures that every manuscript undergoes a fair, objective, and transparent peer review process.

  4. The publisher is committed to preserving the integrity of the academic record by issuing retractions or corrections when ethical violations are identified.
