About the Journal

REAL DIDACHE: Journal of Christian Education is an open-access and peer-reviewed scientific journal managed and published by Sekolah Tinggi Teologi REAL Batam, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia. The journal is registered with E-ISSN 2774-2512 (online) and accepts manuscripts in both Indonesian and English (recommended).

REAL DIDACHE: Journal of Christian Educationfocuses on publishing scholarly works in the field of Christian Religious Education, encompassing philosophical, theological, pedagogical, spiritual, and practical studies. These topics are analyzed through an academic, interdisciplinary, and contextual approach to contribute to the development of knowledge, educational practice, and Christian ministry (see Focus and Scope for more information).

REAL DIDACHE: Journal of Christian accepts original scientific manuscripts that have not been published and are not currently under consideration for publication in other journals. All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the objectivity, integrity, and quality of scientific publications. By submitting a manuscript, the author declares that the article is an original work, free from plagiarism, has obtained approval from all authors, and meets the applicable publication ethics standards at REAL DIDACHE: Journal of Christian Education.

Language
Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English, using proper academic grammar. The title, abstract, and keywords must be presented in both languages. Authors are responsible for ensuring the quality of the language before submission.

Article Types
REAL DIDACHE: Journal of Christian accepts research articles, conceptual articles, literature reviews, and theological reflections related to theology, Christian education, church ministry, Christian leadership, mission, education, and community development. Manuscripts should be between 5,000 and 8,000 words in length, excluding abstracts, tables, figures, and bibliography.

Manuscript Structure
All manuscripts must be systematically structured in the following order: Title, Author Name(s), Affiliation(s), Correspondence Email(s), Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Research Method(s), Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments (if any), Conflict of Interest Statement (if necessary), and Bibliography.

The title should be concise, clear, and informative, with a maximum length of 16 words. The abstract should be written in Indonesian and English, 150–250 words in a single paragraph without citations, containing the background, objectives, methods, research results, and conclusions. Keywords should consist of three to five words or phrases separated by semicolons.

The introduction explains the background of the research, previous research, research gaps, novelty, and objectives. The methods section explains the research design, research subjects, data collection techniques, research instruments, data analysis techniques, and ethical aspects of the research, if necessary. For conceptual articles, this section explains the approach or research method used.

The results and discussion section systematically presents the research findings and interprets them by connecting them to theory and previous research. The conclusion is written narratively, answering the research objectives without including citations.

Authorship
All authors listed must have made significant scientific contributions to the research and preparation of the manuscript. The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the editor throughout the editorial process. Authors are strongly encouraged to obtain an ORCID iD to enhance the visibility of their scientific publications.

Publication Ethics
Authors are required to adhere to scientific publication ethics by ensuring that manuscripts are original works and free from plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, or duplicate publication. Research involving human participants must obtain ethical approval if required by the relevant institution.

Declarations
Authors may include a statement regarding conflicts of interest, author contributions, funding sources, and acknowledgements, if appropriate. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in the writing or analysis process must be transparently disclosed. AI serves only as an aid and cannot be listed as an author of the article.

References
The bibliography must follow APA Style 7th edition. The article should contain at least 20 references, the majority of which are from scholarly journal articles published within the last ten years. Authors are encouraged to use a reference management application such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

Formatting
Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) using the official Real Didache template. They should be written in 12-point font with single spacing. All tables, figures, and illustrations should be placed appropriately in the manuscript and numbered, titled, and sourced where appropriate.

Similarity
Real Didache implements similarity checks using plagiarism detection software. The maximum allowable similarity level is 20%, excluding bibliographies and proper citations. Manuscripts exceeding this limit may be returned to the author for revision or rejected by the editor.

Submission
Manuscripts are submitted through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) Real Didache system. Before submitting, authors must ensure that the manuscript has not been previously published or is currently under consideration by another journal, that it adheres to the journal's template, and that the author's identity has been removed from the manuscript, which will undergo double-blind peer review.

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that the article has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal. Files should be submitted in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format. Reference URLs or DOIs should be included where available. The manuscript has followed all Real Didache formatting and style requirements, and all illustrations, tables, and figures are placed appropriately within the manuscript. For articles undergoing peer review, author identities must be removed from the manuscript to ensure a double-blind peer review process.
