Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts go to Real Didache through the following stages:
- Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team evaluates each manuscript for its relevance to the journal's focus and scope, completeness of elements (title, abstract, keywords, references, etc.), and adherence to submission guidelines. - Double-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two reviewers under a double-blind review system, where both the authors' and reviewers' identities are kept confidential. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on:- Originality and novelty of ideas
- Theological and pedagogical grounding
- Relevance to Christian Religious Education
- Appropriateness of methodology and analysis
- Academic structure and writing quality
- Reviewer Recommendations
Reviewers provide one of the following recommendations:- Accept without revision
- Accept with minor revision
- Major revision required
- Reject
- Editorial Decision
The editorial team reviews the peer feedback and makes the final decision. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript and resubmit it within a specified time frame. - Re-Review (if needed)
For major revisions, the revised manuscript may be sent back to reviewers for further evaluation before a final decision is made. - Final Acceptance and Publication
Once all steps are complete and the manuscript is accepted, it proceeds to the final editing and online publication stage.
