Abstract

This article discusses the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in Christian Religious Education (CRE) in the era of intelligent technology. Utilizing a qualitative research method with a library research approach, this study aims to explore how AI can be used to support Christian religious education without sacrificing essential spiritual and ethical values. The primary issues addressed include the ethical and theological challenges in AI implementation and its impact on the role of teachers and the effectiveness of education. The novelty of this research lies in its holistic approach, combining theological and pedagogical analysis in AI application. The findings indicate that AI has the potential to enhance personalized learning and teaching efficiency, but it must be integrated carefully to ensure that Christian values remain central to education. This research offers practical recommendations for Christian educators to effectively and ethically utilize AI in the learning process.
