Abstract

This study examines the strategic role of Christian Religious Education (PAK) in instilling Pancasila values ??among students of STT Real Batam as an effort to form citizenship awareness rooted in Christian faith values. The formulation of the problem focuses on how optimizing PAK can answer the challenge of low awareness of the application of Pancasila values ??in students' daily lives. By using a descriptive-analytical approach through literature studies, interviews, and observations, this study found that contextual learning methods, interactive discussions, and community service activities are able to integrate the values ??of love, justice, and social responsibility contained in PAK with the spirit of Pancasila. Although there are obstacles such as differences in perception across generations and limitations of the education system, the synergy between PAK and citizenship education still has great potential to be developed. The results of this study recommend a holistic learning strategy so that students can grow into individuals who are faithful, have integrity, and have social responsibility as Indonesian citizens.

Abstra

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran strategis Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila di kalangan mahasiswa STT Real Batam sebagai upaya membentuk kesadaran kewarganegaraan yang berakar pada nilai-nilai iman Kristen. Rumusan masalah berfokus pada bagaimana optimalisasi PAK dapat menjawab tantangan rendahnya kesadaran penerapan nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mahasiswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis melalui studi literatur, wawancara, dan observasi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa metode pembelajaran kontekstual, diskusi interaktif, serta kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat mampu mengintegrasikan nilai kasih, keadilan, dan tanggung jawab sosial yang terkandung dalam PAK dengan semangat Pancasila. Meskipun terdapat hambatan seperti perbedaan persepsi lintas generasi dan keterbatasan sistem pendidikan, sinergi antara PAK dan pendidikan kewarganegaraan tetap memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan strategi pembelajaran holistik agar mahasiswa dapat tumbuh menjadi pribadi yang beriman, berintegritas, dan memiliki tanggung jawab sosial sebagai warga negara Indonesia.
