About the Journal

THECRED: Proceedings of the Theology and Religious Education Dialogue is a peer-reviewed conference proceedings published by Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Real Batam, Indonesia. THECRED serves as a scholarly publication platform for papers presented at conferences, seminars, symposia, and academic forums organized by or in partnership with STT Real Batam.

The proceedings covers the fields of theology, biblical studies, Christian religious education, Christian ethics, pastoral theology, missiology, and interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of theology with the social sciences, philosophy, and cultural studies. Each issue of THECRED is directly linked to a specific conference event, and the thematic focus of each edition reflects the particular subject of its corresponding conference.

THECRED is published per conference event, with a target of two issues per year in the June and December periods. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure scholarly quality and integrity. The editorial process adheres to the publication ethics guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The proceedings operates under a full open access policy. All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits anyone to read, download, copy, distribute, and adapt the published work, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the original source.

The inaugural issue of THECRED was published in May 2026.
