THECRED: Proceedings of the Theology and Religious Education Dialogue is a peer-reviewed conference proceedings published by Sekolah Tinggi Teologi REAL (REAL Theological Seminary), Batam, Indonesia. THECRED serves as a scholarly publication platform for papers presented at conferences, seminars, symposia, and academic forums organized by or in partnership with STT REAL Batam.

The proceedings covers the fields of theology, biblical studies, Christian religious education, Christian ethics, pastoral theology, missiology, and interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of theology with the social sciences, philosophy, and cultural studies. Each issue of THECRED is directly linked to a specific conference event, and the thematic focus of each edition reflects the particular subject of its corresponding conference.

THECRED is published per conference event, with a target of two issues per year in the June and December periods. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure scholarly quality and integrity. The editorial process adheres to the publication ethics guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The proceedings operates under a full open access policy. All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits anyone to read, download, copy, distribute, and adapt the published work, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the original source.

The inaugural issue of THECRED was published in May 2026.

THECRED: Proceedings of the Theology and Religious Education Dialogue Vol. 1, No. 1 memuat makalah-makalah pilihan yang dipresentasikan dalam Seminar Nasional "Pentakostalisme dan AI" yang diselenggarakan oleh Sekolah Tinggi Teologi REAL Batam pada 27 November 2025. Seminar ini menghadirkan tiga keynote speaker, yaitu Prof. Dr. Fransiskus Irwan Widjaja, Ph.D. (STT REAL Batam), Prof. Dr. Daniel Ronda, Th.M. (STFT Jaffray), Dr. Fredy Simanjuntak (STT REAL Batam) dan sembilan Invite Speakers, yang mengangkat berbagai perspektif mengenai perjumpaan antara tradisi teologi Pentakostal dan perkembangan kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence).

Edisi perdana ini menyajikan beragam artikel yang mengeksplorasi berbagai dimensi hubungan antara teologi Pentakostal dan kecerdasan buatan. Topik-topik yang diangkat mencakup discernment teologis di era digital, kerangka etis pemanfaatan AI dalam pelayanan rohani, relasi AI dengan misi Pentakosta, pendekatan pneumatologis dalam pendidikan anak, potensi AI sebagai mitra hermeneutis dalam studi Alkitab, serta berbagai kajian lain yang merefleksikan dinamika teologi, pendidikan, misi, dan pelayanan Kristen di tengah perkembangan teknologi digital. Keseluruhan artikel dalam edisi ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya diskursus akademik mengenai respons teologi Pentakostal terhadap transformasi yang dibawa oleh kecerdasan buatan.

Redaksi menyampaikan apresiasi kepada para penulis, mitra bestari (reviewers), panitia Seminar Nasional "Pentakostalisme dan AI", serta semua pihak yang telah berkontribusi dalam penerbitan edisi perdana THECRED: Proceedings of the Theology and Religious Education Dialogue. Semoga prosiding ini menjadi wadah akademik yang mendorong lahirnya penelitian dan dialog teologis yang berkualitas serta relevan dengan tantangan zaman.
