Pembinaan Identitas Kristen bagi Keluarga Besar Mahasiwa Kristen Politeknik Negeri Samarinda: Penerapan Matius 5:13-16

This community service aims to strengthen the understanding of the Christian Student Family (KBMK) of Samarinda State Polytechnic regarding their identity as salt, light, and children of God. This identity is understood as a gift from the redemptive work of Christ that must be lived out in daily life. The approach used in this community service is an interactive lecture, which emphasises interaction and active participation from Christian students of Politeknik Negeri Samarinda. The results of this activity showed that the participants had a deep understanding of the importance of Christian identity, as well as a commitment to live out that identity in various aspects of life. The students expressed their willingness to maintain moral values as the salt of the earth, radiate the love of Christ as the light of the world, and reflect a God-centred life as children of God. In conclusion, the seminar succeeded in strengthening the awareness of Christian identity and motivating the participants to live a life in accordance with their calling in Christ.

Abstrak
Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat pemahaman Keluarga Besar Mahasiswa Kristen (KBMK) Politeknik Negeri Samarinda mengenai identitas mereka sebagai garam, terang, dan anak-anak Allah. Identitas ini dipahami sebagai anugerah dari karya penebusan Kristus yang harus dihidupi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah ceramah interaktif, yang menekankan pada interaksi dan partisipasi aktif dari mahasiswa Kristen Politeknik Negeri Samarinda. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa para peserta memiliki pemahaman yang mendalam tentang pentingnya identitas Kristen, serta komitmen untuk menghidupi identitas tersebut dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Para mahasiswa menyatakan kesediaan untuk menjaga nilai moral sebagai garam dunia, memancarkan kasih Kristus sebagai terang dunia, dan mencerminkan kehidupan yang berpusat pada Tuhan sebagai anak-anak Allah. Kesimpulannya, seminar ini berhasil memperkuat kesadaran akan identitas Kristen dan memotivasi peserta untuk menjalani hidup yang sesuai dengan panggilan mereka dalam Kristus.
