Dialogue is an interaction between two or more people that involves mutually constructive communication between the speaker and the interlocutor, but in the narrative Gen. 12:10-20 looks like just one way dialogue. This dialogue is seen through the conversation between Abram and Sarai. Abram, who was filled with fear, told Sarai to recognize herself as Abram's sister and not as his wife. The author's aim in conducting this research is to see that Sarai is an important character in this narrative. The author sees that Sarai has an important role in shaping this narrative even though she is shown as someone who is silent without offering any resistance. This research was conducted by the author using narrative criticism to understand that the narrative of Sarai's silence is a criticism for today's readers to hear women's voices and respect women.
