Abstract

The church has a very important role in the formation of early childhood faith, which is the foundation for their spiritual life. This study aims to examine how the church environment can function as a main pillar in the formation of early childhood faith from a theological and practical perspective. This study will examine the theological aspects that underlie children's faith education and how the church can implement practical strategies to create a positive environment and support their spiritual development. The research method used is a qualitative approach with analysis of theological literature. The results of the study show that the church has a great responsibility in introducing children to the Christian faith and providing them with an environment that supports spiritual formation. The church and family complement each other in forming children's character and faith, where the active involvement of both is essential.

Abstra

Gereja memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pembentukan iman anak usia dini, yang merupakan fondasi untuk kehidupan spiritual mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana lingkungan gereja dapat berfungsi sebagai pilar utama dalam pembentukan iman anak usia dini dari perspektif teologis dan praktis. Penelitian ini akan mengupas aspek-aspek teologis yang mendasari pendidikan iman anak-anak dan bagaimana gereja dapat mengimplementasikan strategi praktis untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang positif dan mendukung perkembangan spiritual mereka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis literatur teologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gereja memiliki tanggung jawab besar dalam memperkenalkan anak-anak pada iman Kristen dan memberikan mereka lingkungan yang mendukung pembentukan spiritual. Gereja dan keluarga saling melengkapi dalam membentuk karakter dan iman anak, di mana keterlibatan aktif keduanya sangat diperlukan.
