Real Kiddos: Journal of Early Childhood Education is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Real Batam, Indonesia. The journal accepts manuscripts in both Indonesian and English, considering only original works. Real Kiddos aims to serve as a scholarly platform for the publication of research in the field of early childhood education, particularly within the framework of Christian education, integrating theoretical studies, empirical research, and interdisciplinary approaches in both local and global contexts.
Focus
Real Kiddos focuses on studies of early childhood education with a particular emphasis on the spiritual, moral, social, emotional, and cognitive dimensions of children in the light of Christian faith values. The journal provides an academic forum for educators, researchers, and practitioners to develop scholarly reflections and educational practices that are relevant to the needs of early childhood and the challenges of contemporary society.
Scope
The scope of Real Kiddos: Journal of Early Childhood Education covers a wide range of interdisciplinary studies focusing on early childhood education from a Christian perspective. The journal welcomes manuscripts addressing spiritual, moral, social, emotional, cognitive, and language development of young children, as well as their application in the context of families, churches, and schools. In addition, it publishes articles examining the intersections of Christian early childhood education with developmental psychology, education, theology, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, communication, and educational technology. Studies that highlight teaching practices, methodological innovations, curriculum development, the role of educators, parental involvement, and the challenges of early childhood education in the digital era and multicultural societies are also within its scope.
