Publication Ethic
Real Kiddos: Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini is dedicated to maintaining the highest ethical standards for everyone involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher. These guidelines are based on internationally recognized ethical principles, such as those established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
For Authors
- Accuracy: Authors must present original, accurate, and honest work that responsibly reflects the data. Misleading data presentation or false statements are serious ethical violations.
- Originality: Submissions must be original. Authors should properly cite other sources to avoid plagiarism. The use of plagiarism detection software is encouraged to verify originality.
- Multiple Submissions: Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is prohibited, as duplicate publications violate journal ethical policies.
- Acknowledgment: All sources, references, and contributors must be clearly acknowledged to maintain academic integrity.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation of their research findings.
- Errors in Published Work: If significant errors are discovered after publication, authors are obligated to promptly notify the editor for corrections or retractions.
For Editors
- Publication Decisions: Editors are responsible for deciding which articles to publish based on objective peer review, manuscript relevance, and the journal's editorial policies.
- Fairness: Editors must evaluate manuscripts fairly, without considering the author’s race, gender, religion, ethnicity, or institutional affiliation.
- Confidentiality: Editors must protect the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and only share information with relevant parties with the author’s consent.
- Conflict of Interest: Editors must not use unpublished information for personal gain and should recuse themselves from reviewing manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist.
For Reviewers
- Contribution to Decisions: Reviewers assist editors in making publication decisions and provide constructive feedback to improve the manuscript.
- Objectivity: Reviews must be objective, based on clear arguments, and should include constructive suggestions.
- Confidentiality: Reviewers must keep the content of manuscripts confidential and refrain from sharing it with others without editor approval.
- Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must decline to review manuscripts if potential conflicts of interest exist, such as personal or institutional affiliations with the authors.
For Publishers

- Ensuring Ethical Compliance: The publisher is responsible for ensuring that all published articles adhere to applicable ethical guidelines.

- Protecting Intellectual Property Rights: The publisher safeguards the copyright and intellectual property rights of authors in accordance with applicable laws.
